Everyone is aware that we lost roughly 3 days worth of data due to TF2's HLStatsX overloading the SQL servers. It's a kick in the nuts, but there is nothing we could do about it. The 3 days in question were from 25th to 28th March.
We would all like our XP back from those 3 days, but as always unless there is proof I will not be directly amending any XP to compensate for this. I do not have the data within those 3 days or it would have already been restored.
I will not accept "yeah but I was at this level", "omg I got like 200 levels in those days", or related rants. If I don't have it on backup or you don't have proof then I can't recover data that I don't have.
Right now you are pissed for losing 3 days worth of XP that won't be recovered. You are not the only one and it's only 3 days.
If you haven't been playing long at all, then you have not lost a lot. You can get it back quick enough.
If you have been playing for a long time, then 3 days isn't exactly a large cut.
If you have found yourself with 0 XP and -1 medals, then that will probably be recoverable providing you were playing before the 25th March.
Please stop sending me forum private messages, emails, steam friends messages, in game messages, or any other messages if you have no proof of your XP in the last 3 days, because I certainly don't have any.
Still pissed? Remember that nobody from the Multiplay Sven Co-op staff team are responsible for the stability and integrity of data held on the Multiplay SQL servers, so don't complain to us about how bad we are for not taking backups every 10 minutes. It is also not the fault of Multiplay's Team Fortress 2 staff team, we can't blame them for having popular servers.
This loss is hardly the end of the world, is it ...
