I dont know if this has been brought up, or has been spoken of before in any other threads or on irc, but i think it would be a good idea to maybe get a lil IRL Clanwar on the paintball field, single shot elimination rounds..
be good to see if those players renowned for clutch players can pull 1 off agaisnt 5-6 on a paintball field :)
as topic ses, any clan/mix can really play, but i think it would be a good idea if there was some kinda of small prize pool competition for wars on the paintball field (if weather is good).
im just thinking like in quite a few I-series has done the Football match, Punters vs Staff, so why not do the same thing, and even do a Punters Vs Staff paintball match, and even advance from that and get some clans involved :D
id sign up for sure :D
anyway, post ya opinions, comments, what ever. :)
(p.s - dont know the health and safety on the 4x4 track, but i think you could also do a clan vs clan race, aslong as people dont get carried away(mentally, and physically by paramedics ;D)

Im all up for organising staff vs punters paintball, but it might have to wait until after the first event at the new location before we give it a go. Will see how things pan out.

+1 Sup is such a faster paced game, and is excellent to watch.

Just because they could down a pint of paint in under 1.5 seconds doesnt mean they can win paintball. ^&^

Depends, I love them both, Paintball because well....hit spatters rock. Airsoft on the other hand has full auto and gas pistols akimbo.

However fun that may seem... I am quite paranoid of getting shot in my bum again :( That was probably one of the most terrifying moments when I was 12.

Airsoft bores me to tears. It just doesn't hurt! Hence you dont really give a damn when you get shot. If you get hit by a paintball fired from any semi-decent marker YOU KNOW ABOUT IT.

Wrong. semi-decent marker and paint, you'll feel it but it wont hurt. In fact, some of the time you won't feel it at all which is why tourney 'ballers are advised to keep checking or call a self-check by the refs if they think they've been hit to avoid 1-for-1's. Punter sites ALWAYS use bad paint (the sort that's actual marbles with a gooey centre) and therefore hurt. Draxxus or similar paint, wont.
It'll also only hurt if you go over the 300fps limit, at which point the speed and impact from the balls will literally start weakening or even breaking people's goggles and protection.
Mugging runs however may also hurt slightly. I however, find these hilarious.

This.
Within paintball, anything other than semi-auto (which we call ramping) is actually ILLEGAL within play in worldwide tournaments and generally banned anyway within the UK - in the US, auto-paintball markers are legal, however only for Scenario games and the like.
If you've ever watched a couple of games of paintball or airsoft, both play very differently. In my opinion, comparing the two is a pretty bad idea.
Meanwhile, time to try and get both the iR3 and Speed 05's chips working for i34...
