I havent noticed anything single player.. Solid FPS as it promises. 2 Player is good too but you arnt allowed in car veiw i guess to keep the solid framerate.
Online i havent even touched yet though i wonder how that is.

While i cant see the G25 as an option in GT5P it does have the driving force wheels and another config option im guessing for other wheels.
Here is a vid of some guy using by looks of it the full features of the G25 on the prologue demo

Correct, you just select another simular Logitech wheel with shifter from the menu and voilla.
Works on the PS2 with GT4, sadly only sequential shifting with the stick :(
You bought a PS3 then Gunny?
As much as I'm GAGGING to play this, I think I'll wait until the full version is out before rushing off to buy a PS3. IF I can wait.......

was shipped yesterday, just waiting for it to arrive
ahh, does it have full clutch support?
Pingman
29th March 2008, 11:43
GT4 doesn't, heard GT5 does (as well as full shifter support!) but am yet to test as lakc of PS3 and GT5 is preventing me. :(
Allthough I'm just heading into town so the chances are I'll accidentally come back with one lol :v

well ive been using it a hell of a lot the past few days and by god i like it. GT5 is nice, some nice tracks and a decent selection of motors, the G25 is pretty much supported out the box all bar the clutch and I cant find the option for manual clutch which is pissing me right off.
other then that great game, oh and burout paradise is just brillance

Been playing a while and yes very nice. I've noticed a tiny bit of slowdown that seems to occur on certain corners of certain tracks.
I'd love to use a wheel but since my PS3 is in the living room and I have no table to attach it to I can't see how I'm able to.

G25 users: press very top button (i think its triangle) while racing to enable manuel clutch, some cars have automatic clutch so try a diff car if it doesnt work for you

Just bought a 'saved game' off eBay.
Ok, so it's a bit of a cheat but I don't have to use all the cars and lets face it, who is going to save up 2,000,000 credits to buy the F1 car?
Just thought I'd let everyone know it's available.

You PAID for a saved game?!
Not that I'd want to, but I'm sure there are loads flying around on various ps3/console forums etc...
who is going to save up 2,000,000 credits to buy the F1 car?
I plan on doing so ~_~

Paid for a saved game? I've heard it all now.
My brother is still keeping close hold over my ps3 but he gleefully informed me he'd unlocked S class. Bless him its only taken 2 weeks :P

God getting gold on the 700 rating races just feels such an achievement. Also leads me to the above post, aid for a saved game? You missed out.
Although I did find the 630, 680 races a tad easy with the Lotus Elise 111? tuned

Im still on A class with 2 races to go, i'll jump to S when I can be arsed to learn the only 2 tracks i dont like :/

30th April 2008, 10:34
Done most of the races now, only a few on S class left :)
Not sure what to save up for next, might get a tuned elise, although the tuned Ford GT's look awesome :D lol.
Just gutted I can't buy my car :(

im in two minds about shelling out 300 grand for the ford GT test model, the GT itself handles like a fat boat, sounds nice tho but i dont know if i want to risk the money on it.
now the Amuse Honda S2000 GT1 Turbo...theres a car.

30th April 2008, 14:18
I might give the Amuse 2000 a try, looks quite good :)
Thing is with the GT, I think it's car you'd have to try because as you said the thing handles like a boat due to it being so rear end twitchy but the tuned versions could well of fixed that.....a lot of cash though just to see lol.

Tuned GT is very good, handles far better with a ton of power.
Amuse is also very good handles superb.
However both need to be tuned DOWN for the 700. Only managed the first 700 tune race so far in the GT with some settings tweaking. Looks like I need to fiddle with the amuse settings a little to win the other race.
Im saving for the F40 and Blickx or whatever its called now. Made most my money doing that damn 1 lap ferrari 430 race and working on the 700 tuned race.

PAID for a save game?!? Wheres the fun in that, you'll be the person slamming into barriers in corners then in multiplayer as you havent learnt/practiced the game :P (I kid)
It doesn't take that long to get the Cr.2,000,000... 62 S class daytona races if you really wanted to do it in one go (I didn't) or just plug away at online and your winings from that will get you up there.
The Ferrari F2007 is awesome! :awesome: (and I don't like F1 at all if I'm honest) the speed you can go round corners is incredible, took the big left hander after the back straight on suzuka at like 218mph, no breaking, accelerator pinned and it was smooth as! :D:
