Yes you can. I would strongly advise not paying on the door though as this does delay you entrance into the event.

Ive got the ticket, but surely a £20 transaction at the door cant take that long ? lol

There is only one desk that can take payment on the door compared to 4 for pre-bookings so it means you can be stuck in a much longer slow running queue if your dont prebook.

It takes longer than it would to simply check you in, multiply this by the amount of people who want to buy EAS (possibly a fair number) and you've got delays for everyone else :(:

I wouldnt bother with the EAS me and my friends paid for it at i33 and all we really paid for was am extra day stood in the cold and wet rain! we weren't even allowed in shelter!! or allowed into the event till gone half 7 on the night and didnt get access to the network till silly hour in the morning.

Save the money

Network is not guarenteed for EAS, it is meant for people who have to travel long distances or who have to get lifts to the event.
(i'm not speaking on behalf of MPUK, this has always been the reason behind EAS)

I get EAS at every event, mainly for the drive down from Edinburgh being easier the day before than on the day.

Always had a network connection on EAS, but as has been said, it's not guaranteed. At i27 it was all working when we set up, same at i30, though the power blew a few times (my fault) and at i33 it took them a while to get the wiring sorted (somebody pulled wires too tight in the boxes), but we were still up and running around 8 or 9 at night.

If you treat it as an additional LAN day, you'll be disappointed, if you treat it as a way to give you a day to travel/arrive/set-up (as it's meant), it does what it's meant to do.

I arrived at i33 at 5:30pm on thursday had enough time for a ciggarette and a chin wag and as soon as 6pm came I was in que for EAS. What i noticed was that the que for paying on the door was around 2 people long whilst I was in a que of around 30 people for EAS. What I am going to do at i34 is book the event and pay on the door, seemed to me from my experience of i33 that the people that come right on 6pm seem to have paid up in advance. On a side note, as soon as I got my computer upstairs to my seat I had power/network/internet all up and running, dont know where you where sitting but in the grandstand second floor all was great from the start.

This wont work as the event will be sold out way before then so you'd have no space to pay for.

Not sure why there was a queue, we went up at around 5.30 to start queueing, but there was no queue, barring about 6 people - we were signed in before 6pm and waiting for the Berkshire boxes to be open.

Save the moneywe were in at 6 but they had not stup the network TBH Network is not guarenteed but we were out for food @ to ask, then we came back and was fine so no problem EAS is more about meeting up with friends so if you have no friends then EAS is not for you :)
