Yes you saw it here first, i34 bookings including our Early Bird discount is now available for everyone :D

With the introduction of the seat picker, great new venue with Paintball, Quad Biking and Hostel / Hotel spaces available there's never been a greater reason to ensure you book early!

So everyone knows the Hotel costs £85 per night and the Hostel rooms, two beds, cost £35 per night.

What is the early bird discount, and how do I claim it?

Also, I started booking a ticket (£80-gold discount) and got this:
BOOKING DETAILS:
Booking Type:
Days booked on: Event Ticket (covers all event days)
Game Area: Other Games
Cost: £79.00
Is there some problem with the EAS for Gold Ticket Holders possibly?

Any provision being made at this event or future events for private rooms?

If you carry on and book, the price gets corrected to £64.

Aye, the price on the confirmation page is pre-discounts, they're applied when you click to book. I appreciate that it's a bit rubbish and there are plans afoot to improve things ;)

You get 20%

Say_Ten

You get 20%, 10% more than you would if you paid out of the early bird period.

K
25th March 2008, 16:34
Hotel ( lodge ) spaces now available, there's only 20, so if you want one you'll need to book & pay ASAP!!

my point is that everyone gets 20% so for the early bird so the silver discount level isn't really a discount...

If I'm reading this properly it sounds like you've got a gold discount, which means that EAS is free and hence flagged as paid before you pay for your place itself. To pay for the space you don't click the booking links, that will say you've already booked, not attended. Instead you want to use the payment page that can be found here:

https://www.multiplay.co.uk/i34/m_eventpayments.asp

So £85 quid a night - ouch!

Not too bad for a pucka hotel room I spose but still adds up to well over £250 in total with entry fee. By the time you've factored in travel and food it's going to be the thick end of £400 which is a bit extreme. Spose that's the price of not kipping in a tent :)

So if there are 58 rooms does that mean 38 have already been nicked by staff? Obviously a lot of very flush staff! ;)

£85 is the Hotel rooms, dont forget the Hostel rooms which are available as well and they are only £35 per night per room, each room has two beds, so thats only £17.50 per night per person.

K
25th March 2008, 17:06
4 is only Silver, you need 8 events for Gold.

bump ? :(

Considering that the rows are 24 people per row and that there are 2 rows back 2 back this adds up to 48 people per row. Large switches genrally come in 24/48 port varities this means that there wouldnt be any spare ports avaliable on the switch for an additoinal network connection.
This would need to be confirmed for the gods on high tho! :-)
