i saw alliegence in EB today and was wondering if it was worth buying and going to i9 as a complete newbie at it.. would ppl help me out on it?

woah, good question.

The game itself is space combat, but with a twist, someone has to command the ships, tell them where to go, and build bases and research tec.

It is far more than just space combat, tactics rule..

I will leave it to others to fill you in on the various factions..

On the other hand, the game is fairly old now, you can still find players online to play against, but as a standalone game, other than the trainign it isn't possible to play, you need a good net connx or a lan party..

It is still however a brilliant game and one worth adding to any gamers collection, provided EB have lowered the price enough, and you have a good Internet connx at home, to play online, not just at lan parties..

Mingtea, definitely buy it. It has a very comprehensive tutorial that will get you going, and then I'm sure the MPUK team can show you the finer side of tactics 'close up' :D

Right then i went out and brought alliegence i'll wack thru the training missions any help at i9 will be greatley needed cheers :)
