Instructions for joining IRC on the welcome pack next time 200/1700 people was a bit of a poor showing. My row only new about it because i told them.
Its a good place to organise games and chat to people in the LAN, in the big room we can stand up and wave to each other as well :D

I second that.
Previous events have had instructions, but not this one.
As usual, I forgot how to get on IRC and had to search the forums for a partial answer.

Yeah, previous i-events had instructions for how to get on chat and it was helpful as it was my first i-series. It was good this time too that prices of what was at reception went on the forms and the opening times of food/bar went online too.

#tannoy please for future events - in boxes, we heard every tannoy announcement twice (once on main speakers, once on TVs a few seconds after) and both times it was practically impossible to understand what was being said
I know this keeps being asked for, but I've never seen it progress any further - surely Multiplay cares for its customer base

I think you *might* be able to hear any announcements at Stoneleigh ;)

IRC ftw! I'd like to see IRC stat tracker too.
Why oh Why did IRC PC not win the crucial modding contest, IRC PC = Win!

I agree, I've not used IRC for many years and totally forgotten how to use it, so a little 4 or 5 step guide would be useful.

I agree, as a first timer to the iseries at i33, i thought the 2 sheets of paper that were found on my desk would have some helpful info on, but one was my info the other was ea stuff.
My row only found out because i found out somehow.
