Hi all.
** having now seen a portable (new) on sale at silly prices.. im now open to offers on the price..
I have an Ibook G3 white for sale.. It was bought off Ebay originally not working and re-furbished by me to help me learn how to repair macs.
Originally it was a 700mhz 256ram machine with 30gb hard disk. i changed the motherboard and the hard disk and now it is 800Mhz 256mb with a new 100Gb hard disk.
Dead pixels.. none.
Scratches.. a couple but nothing major, typical for its age.
keyboard .. english and in good condition as is the mosue pad and covering plate.
It has sound, network (10/100) plus wireless via airport card (installed) plus modem 2 usb and 1 firewire + apple monitor link.
What is wrong with it?
two things.. the battery.. it is original and works fine except that as the battery runs down it says it has about 70% battery left then powers off, it runs for about 40 minutes on battery before that point... in most probability it needs a new battery for you to get 3 hours off it.. but as im selling it I dont see the point, they are on ebay at cheap prices.
it's other fault, it only has 3 rubber feet, (missing one) came supplied that way.. again available on ebay cheap.
Operating system.. will be OSX (not panther) and will be a fresh (patched) install in english with your personal details.. copy of install disk included.
Ask me nicely and ill include laptop bag for it and it comes with the original mac owners manual.. (pretty pictures of how to open safari etc).
looking for around XXX OFFERS XXX quid but im open to offers.. pm for details.. and please feel free to ask any questions you might have,
