Hi,
Looking to treat my younger brother at i33, and give him the decent fps on COD4 he really wants but is afraid to ask for :D
Requirements:
PCI-E
450W PSU Compatible ( GTX probably wont run ? so perhaps GTS old models )
If anyone has a GTS 320MB or 640MB, or even an 8800GT 512MB, i'd be interested, at the right price.

depends on the PSU, what are its ampages.

get something like a 500W+ Thermaltake PSU, they arnt to expensive and are good PSU's. I got a 700W Thermaltake Toughpower for around £70, I expect any lower wattage will be cheaper.

Its probably best to leave headroom 580/600 should be enough, I know the PSU's work much better at the nearest to there maximum but when you want another upgrade or something else on the power supply 500w will be pretty close.

Quality over quantity, a high quality (Enermax, Tagan, etc.) 350w PSU will run an 8800gt/gts no problem. A low quality (Q-TEC, ColorsIT) 600w won't.
Personally I run a q6600, 2 hard drives, 4GB RAM, a DVD burner and an 8800gt from a 250w shuttle psu :D

I've got a BFG 8800GTS OC 640MB available from mid-week providing its replacement shows up and works. Boxed with all original bits except one of the two DVI-VGA convertors. Looking for £125+del, mail me to discuss if interested.

im with SBB, PSU is often the most overlooked component in your machine yet its the most important as it makes everything work.
invest in a good one and for god sake get a solid line one as opposed to this modular ****e

Also with gunny and SBB. PSU is vital, alwaysget a good one. 8800GT 256meg would be a good bet if you cant stretch to a 512. The GTS 512 meg is also very very nice and not much more than some of the GTs. The thing to remember is the 512 GTS uses the same arcitechture as the new GTs. G92 instead of the older G90.
