yuhuh was amazed by this last night, my CD is so over used i had to take it out after load anyway due to the noise it made!

Playing this every day in vista x64 have had rare 4 hour game crashes and I hope this fixes them.

Considering how old the game is at this point it seems like the moajority of the communities CD's will be wrecked by this point (mine is anyway) or getting to the point where they are unusable.

I fully approve and support this decision :)

Patch was fun, as i was running on a previous install on a seperate partition so registry was missing an entry for it. Thus patch wouldnt install. Luckilly i found a nice site that gave instructions on how to add the missing bit and it worked. Great success!

You didnt need to add the registry just needed to run the game and patch from battle.net
