Ohh the big day, make sure you crack open the whiskey early. OMG it is so nerve racking. I got married at 12:00 (almost 3 yrs ago) and by then I had almost drank half a bottle of JD :P.

Also if you can, try and make all your speeches before you eat (if doing any). We had an expsensive meal and I didn't really eat any of it as my nerves were getting the better of me. Infact the speech seemed worse then the marriage itself :D

Yeah it will be a long day we didn't end up going to bed until 4am on the Sunday morning :D, you kinda have to stay up and around until all other guests have gone :D

Yeah it does seem to be getting more popular now to do speeches first then you can relax while you eat and not sit there thinking your speech is coming up.

My honeymoon was a cruise, almost cost more than the wedding itself :D...
Talk about costs OMG it deffo is the most expensive party, I think ours in total was in the region of 15-20k, I always seemed to paying out 1000 quid here and there, 1000 quid for cake ... lol they saw me coming :D, single most expensive thing was probably either the photographist or the harpist (and she only played for about 30 mins during canopes)

there is a boss at my work I remember him saying his daughters was over 25k!!!!

the main theme (although we didnt go with a really strong theme tbh) was celtic, our wedding rings are celtic bands, cake had celtic knot ribbon on it, and all maria's jewellery was celtic. And we had a huge 12" king arthur dagger to cut hte cake with :D
