1) We've finished the code that will reduce or eliminate bad framerate when you are near shotgun blasts in water. This is planned to be released tommorrow.
2) A second, related change will tentatively ship next week to reduce or eliminate bad framerate when you are near wall or floor shot impacts.
3) We've fixed a bug that could cause larger-than expected particles to appear, which could hurt framerate. The fix for this is planned to be released tommorrow.
4) I've started to look into the slow CPU perf problems we identified with my test program a week or two ago. No date on a fix for this.
5) We've identified some places where we are loading files during gameplay, which could provoke bad perf spikes, especially if you have antivirus programs running. No date on a fix for this yet.
I really hope this sorts out my lag problems.
