Childrens Stories, Nursery Rhymes have all gone wrong!

My Daughter has recently started nursery and I have noticed that things are not how they used to be. They are re-writing all the old favourites.

Take these stories / Rhymes as an example. Just try from memory alone, don't go trying to be smart, fannying around with google, try and remember what happened in each of the stories, and then I will post back how they differ now.

Gingerbread man - What happened to the Gingerbread Man when the wolf was helping him cross the river.

Chicken Licken - What happened to Chicken-licken, Hen-len, Cock-lock, Duck-luck, Drake-lake, Goose-loose, Gander-lander, and Turkey-lurkey

Little Red Riding Hood When the Wolf went to grandmas house what happened next, and then what did the father do with all the stones

Humpty Dumpty When he fell off the wall what was the outcome ...

Humpty Dumpty couldnt be put back together again. :/

Little Red Riding Hood.. the Wolf hid in the granma's bed to wait for LRRH to arrive. Oh my what big teeth you have, etc. etc. I dont think he actually GOT red riding hood (cant remember). Somehow I think the wolf met his death via an Axe? Not sure why I think that.

Gingerbread man :- Dunno, cant remember.

Chicken Licken :- Never heard off, must be some newfangled story? got put into a KFC?

All from memory, didnt bother with google. I would really be awful at "are you smarter than a 10 year old?" as the majority of questions there are totally irrelevant.

HD: Unfortunatly, after a lengthy battle Mr Dumpty could not be put together again.

LRRH: Was caught and served as lunch for the hungry wolf, who it was repoted had ALREADY feasted on 'three little pigs'.

GBM: The Gingerbread man was the wolf's 5th, and we believe final victim.

CHK: Bird Flu?

No no chicken licken is an old one as well, maybe not as old I aint sure but I deffo heard the story when I was in infant school which was '84-88

They all got gobbled up but all the kings horse and all the kings men couldn't put Humpty back together again.

foxy loxy chicken licken goosey loosey etc... went to see the king and tell me hte sky is falling down. The fox ended up with a full belly.

giner bred man was in the mouth to get accross the river and he was flipped up and swolloed whole.

Red riding hood big teeth ears etc. Gobbel.

From what i remember

Gingerbread man - ran away ended up getting ate by a fox which helped the gingerbread man cross the river

Chicken Licken - Think got ate by foxy loxy or what ever it was called (really cant remember this one)

Little Red Riding Hood - got ate by the wolf but the lumber jack cut the wolf open freed red riding hood (could of been freed grandma cant remember)

Humpty Dumpty - fell off the wall smashed he was dead end off

What they probably are now are

Gingerbread man - thanks the fox for helping him cross the river and they walk off in to the sunset

Chicken Licken - now named chicken little and changed to the Disney film. Everyone is happy and walks off in to the sunset

Little Red Riding Hood - notices the wolf is not her grandma, wolf says fiddle sticks, grandma is found safe in a retirement home the wolf put her in so everyone is happy and they walk off in to the sunset

Humpty Dumpty - went to fall but the guards caught him. Everyone is happy and they walk off in to the sunset
