LANSOAP 5 - 4th to 6th April 2008
LANSOAP returns after a brief hiatus with our 5th LAN party on the 4th to 6th April 2008.
After the success of the previous events we hope this one to be even bigger and better!
The event will be held at the Village Hall in Fiskerton, Lincolnshire. This a great venue and has been praised by many of our attendees in the past. There is a large main hall which is the gaming area, and a seperate side room for console and projector gaming, and sleeping. The hall also has a large fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezers, microwave and ovens. Furthermore, there are ample toilet and shower facilities and plenty of space round the side of the hall for parking, and grassed areas for camping if you prefer.
We will be running a variety of tournaments at this event, including Call of Duty 4, with prizes up for grabs! The price of the LAN is £20 if paid before 1st March, or £35 thereafter.

Surely you can knock the price a bit for newbies to get even more numbers up ;)
Plenty of space available is too much space :P lol
Im sure u can arrange some 'reccomend a friend' type discount haha :D
really am very interested in coming, just the trek from Middlesbrough to there in fuel costs is getting beyond a joke + £35 + food is madness ;P

Shipment is a teeerrible map, there is no skill involved its just who can spam the fastest. I think the teams should be at least 5 men (or women) strong and we should play headquarters and TDM. Now that would be worth it.
Also, Company of Heroes FTW!

How many more people are expected to turn up and pay at the door?
Theres only 19 paid people at the moment, was expecting more competition if im going to be spunking 35 notes and the trek down there :P
I think admin should send emails out / chase up the people that havent yet already paid to get them to come along..

I wouldnt worry about the numbers turning up, my mate and I are traveling miles more than you have to, and we dont even play most of the games that have been talked about :(:
But we will take on anyother CSs team. Our Rimmer like skills are legend, no team can die as quick as us :>:
