I did have GTA:SA and MP2 seperatly but I sold my DVD Drive to Igloo and accidentally left the GTASA disc in the box. And I seriously have no idea where my MP2 discs went.
Plus this pleases me as it is now reasonable to assume GTA:V and Manhunt 2 will both be available on Steam.

Why would you 'want' manhunt, that game is terrible despite its humourous content

Good news that if they can land a developer like Rockstar, they might be able to land other similar "high profile" dev studios :)

It's "everyone versus EA" atm. Activision are on Steam, and afaik EA's Link or whatever it's called is a closed programme. I can only see Steam winning it tbh.

I'm sure I would be bothered to fire up a lot of the games I've got, Thief, Hitman, FarCry etc. if I didn't have to dig out the CD/DVD to play. For that reason alone, I hope Steam expands its catalogue...

EA Link has dissolved into two parts. It is the EA Store for buying games and content, and the EA Downloader. You get three tries to guess what it does and the first two don't count.
Its getting to the stage where everything will be available on Steam.

honestly, bravo steam.
A lot of companys have tried to do this but valve/steam are the ones who did it right.

Steam does take paypal not sure about maestro. All we need now is for them to sort out international pricing rather than everything in dollars (however sometimes this works out beneficial :D)

I have paid for steam purchases through paypal, whom I funded from my maestro card.
