View Full Version : Ban appeal for #18(Skyscraper2)

Hey guys, < blonk > here.

I am a regular across the TF2 jump servers hosted by multiplay, but was banned today on #18 for using racist language. We were busy working away trying to get a teleporter up high, but things started to get a bit heated after I stopped letting people from the ground use my teleporter. I wound up calling a buddy of mine a racist term as a joke towards him, not intending to be racist towards the other players. I figured because it was censored that there was no problem, until I got banned.

I realise that this is a probably a futile cause after talking to the guys on IRC, but you guys run a great selection of jump maps 24/7, it'd be much appreciated if I could get unbanned. This won't happen again, I assure you :)

Im pretty sure thats a private server, so Multiplay themselves have limited control over it (none in this case).
However the Owner of that server is an active member of these forums, so who knows.

I'm pretty sure its not a private server, but to be honest there's no need for rasist language. How is it a joke?

But wait for an admin for an offical response.

I didnt think the publics ran the skyscraper maps?
Oh well, maybe my mistake.

Blonk.... We do NOT tolerate racism on our servers, however in this instance we are prepared to reduce your ban to 1 week. Be aware though we take racisim very serously and if there is a repeat of todays events with you a perm ban will be enforced and remain in place.

Just for the info of tim, a list of all the official servers can be found on the thread in this forum titled "TF2 Public Server List + Admin List" (I can't put a link as I don't have 15 posts!)
