My current test subject for the dull low sec war:

Maelediction:

3x Malakuth Rocket Launcher (Caldari Navy Rockets)

Fleeting Scrambler
Fleeting Webber
MWD II

2x N-Type Adaptive
SAR II

Just about squeeze it in but requires quite a few high skills. Any thoughts?

Everytime I almost had a fight the WT's buggered off.

Lows should be nano, nano, OD and rigged with aux thrusters if you can. With Claymore in gang you go speed+++

Better to go for polycarbon rigs if you can afford it.

Polycarbs are overkill on inties really, you're adding about 8 times the cost of the ship in rigs. You still go 8k/s with just aux thrusters and nanos.

Kinda why i added the "if you can afford it" ;-)

Even if you can afford it its pretty dumb. Or maybe I should start posting officer fittings in advice threads because hey, if you can afford it rite? :v

Plus noone on this forum that will need help with inty fittings will be able to afford it anyway, even aux thrusters is really pushing it.

i personally dont use hardeners in gang inty setups, the reason being that your job is to stop them leaving and to do it quickly, so speed is essential.

i would recommend a tech II disruptor over anything else as they are cheap and have 24km range.

Yeah most on this forum have only started in the recent few months, there are a few exceptions that have played a long time but for now the fittings are aimed towards the inexperienced and those with low income.

From my short period of flying an Interceptor as a tackler, the best route seems to be making sure that you can permanantly run a 24k disruptor and pulse a MWD. Use either cap boosters or a cap battery to help maintain this.

Anything else is a bonus really in terms of gang fights.

You can easily permarun both disruptor and MWD now with the new interceptor changes.

It's this thing the forum trolls like to do Andy. I noticed it a lot of scrapheap, they just cant help themselves quoting another guy up and not saying a thing.

Screams of attention seeking disorder :)

Got a load of Taranii with mwd/disruptor/web and then OD/nano/inertia stab. Setup to go fast, turn fast, and tackle people. Stuck some guns in just for lulz but dont expect to really use them for much beyond getting pods or being actually on a KM.

taranis with neutrons fitted hurt lots. only trouble is that you have to get soo damn close to use them.
