Hi all... after much mission running, looting, and salvaging, it appears i have a metric (or imperial, i`m not sure) assload of Tech 1 ship fittings that would be ideal for noobs.

I have ammo for all small, medium and most large guns / launchers. I have all types of weapons (Projectile, laser, hybrid, missile launchers, and energy pulse bombs).

I have armour, shield, hull, cap, cpu, sensor, ecm, eccm, repairers, scramblers, scanners and various other odds and sods.

They range from the basic Tech 1 standard fittings to some of the shiney named varieties.

If you think you could use any of this stuff, wander over to Oipo (In Lonetrek) and give me a shout. I`ll see what I can do for you.

Good point.. must be an arseload then :)

At the moment over 18,000m³ of various fixtures and fittings. Thats just the stuff i dont want to keep for my self, and its growing by the day.

Reprocess, sell mins, give isk to newbies instead. Works much better and stops people fitting complete crap to their ships without knowing better.

I have ISK too... but a lot of the fittings are good named ones so they are worth using.

I may have to drop by then ;)

Also reprocessing anything that isnt a basic T1 item nets you less profit than selling it in most cases. Some times significantly so.

An Arbalest Missile launcher for example will recycle into about 20k isk worth of minerals.

If you sell it on the market you will get up to 10 mil for it (depending where you sell).

Since I may actually be starting EVE after all this time at some point, hang on to a few bits for me. Should be on in a couple of weeks. :D:

you do also need good skills to get a nice refine rate for reprocessing stuff. If anyone ever needs my alt gets 97% back with only about 3% lost in tax.

White if u want can take some items of you're had and turn them into ammo.

That extra 3% isnt going to make up for the missing 9.9 million tho is it.

Arablast is a named though isnt it. He did suggest anything but good named :)

However I like you, am also a hoarder....all that pretty loot!

Anything I know is good I sell, anything that sells for **** I reprocess. Or at least thats the plan. At the moment I am just hoarding.

Oh and 15 mil for a 2 gate courier mission LOL's. Loving them story missions ;P

Since I've now started EVE myself, any chance of having some of this stuff, including full fittings for my ship and some extras just in-case something happens to them? :D:

I've reactivated and am going to become an INDUSTRY TYCOON.

In other words, I'm going to give the EZmode minin' & refinin' gamestyle a shot. Nothing like sitting in an asteroid field, mining the holy hell out of everything in sight, swigging my favourite beverage while reading Reddit :)

My alt will be the industrial / refinery guy. I aim to get a good efficiency in ore refinery and have a set of blueprints for common ammo types for the War Effort, and (after I research it a bit more) maybe start churning out some personally manufactured ships :)

good luck finding a station to research in, and if you find a slot tell me!

I'm not researching, just refining + producing.

if you want the most efficient build you need to research the blueprints material efficiency don't you? I'm new at it too as i only started looking at it a few days ago, i thought i may as well try it seeing as half of my skills are in industry -_-

I'm not researching, just refining + producing.

If you don't use researched blueprints, it becomes more efficient to sell the minerals and buy the item from people that ARE using researched blueprints.

Then I will read up on Researching and try some of that, too :D

Anyone post a good starting build for a new miner alt? Stats, training to aim for, etc.?

Blue_Monkey
24th December 2007, 17:23
is it still that you can only have one skill training across your 3 characters?

Just to update this thread... the ship fittings are now sitting in the PSPR Corp hanger in Oipo.

All "noob" memebers have full access. Any veteran members can buy their own parts.

That said, i will be selling off the better named parts "for make profit glorious corp PSPR".
