View Full Version : Level 4 Loot Alt Ship

So I did a bunch of level 4 missions last night fairly easily with Nimrodel and tried using a Hurricane loot ship with afterburner/mwd, 5xcargo expanders and salvagers.
This worked fine but was a little slow, so I was wondering if a stabber or rupture or something would be a better bet. Anyone using an alt loot/salvager or doing it themselves by switching ships?
I was told a destroyer is a bit too small nowadays with some of the ridiculously sized modules.
ps. Level 4 money is like candy :)

Can other players help out with missions you have without actually having the mission/agent standing themselves?

Yes just have them in your fleet like you would in pvp.
The only thing I noticed is when I leave my alt looting and complete the missions aside from the buildings/gates removing from the mission instance it also thinks your alt is stealing all the loot as it gives warnings.

Cargo expanded destroyer, don't bother looting anything less than 2nd best named modules.

That and knowing that certain types of modules are next to worthless and you should concentrate on large weapons as priority to loot.

or just salvage them and leave all loot :)

Only a few salvage items are actually worth anything and they take next to no space, some modules are worth millions.

due to loot changes i dont bother much. I prefer to salvage as its more usefull. Looting setup =
Catalyst with -
4x salvagers 4x tractor beam
1mn MWD cap recharger II
2x expanded cargohold II and 1x Cap Relay II
Can swap the cap relay for another expanded cargohold if needed.
If anyone is ever interested i do ALOT of nice lvl 4 missions and dont salvage much. So if you need i can pass you navs for the wrecks from my missions.

But once you tell the agent you have completed the mission, the mission complex disaperes along with the wrecks. So that would be next to useless, surely.

nope, i just bookmark a wreck and complete mission. You can fly to the bookmark where all the wrecks willl be located. Did it a day or so ago to salvage about 60 wrecks.
For clarity, When you complete a mission everything except wrecks/loot cans will vanish. If you have previously bookmarked those cans in the different rooms, someone can just fly between bookmarks looting/salvaging everything.
