Hi folks.
As per title of thread, I have decided to step down as Community Liaison for Day of Defeat.
Its time for a little history though I think.
The first online game that I played (and played really well) was Day of Defeat 1.3. I played for hours and eventually became quite good. I joined Jolt.co.uk as an admin when I was 16. I kept up with this until about a year and a half ago when I lost intrest in playing both DoD and DoD:Source. I left Jolt in pursuit of a new community, a new game, and a new start. I found Multiplay.
Needless to say, after going to i28 I was hooked. And when Breath heard of my DoD experiance he offered me the chance to be the head in charge of the Multiplay DoD community. This was a great offer I could not refuse.
Unfortunatly though, I soon remembered why I had stopped playing Day of Defeat. I loved the style, the looks, the strategy, but it just didnt hold my intrest the way it used to.
Ive found myself along with WIRO trying to fill up the MPUK servers, but I have been finding that I have to force myself to play a game I simply do not enjoy any more.
So, I have decided to step aside and let someone new have a go. Someone currently active within the DoD community who has the time, resources and the will to make something really good of the community.
And to that person I wish, good luck sir. I salute you.
By the way, until that person is found though, I will remain in charge. You should still consider me the CL until a new one is announced :)
