I was just wondering if my setup meets with approval or if anyone can give pointers on how i could improve it. I know there are better boards for these kind of posts but im not looking forward to getting flamed on places like SHC where everyone is an alliance pilot with e-peen syndrome.

(Rigs: Ancillary Current Router 1 / Trimark Armor Pump 1)
I intend to use this for pvp hence not minding the little extra on faction ammo.

I'm no expert, but I can't see any glaring errors there.

I'm guessing a Domi isn't a great pvp ship? I know the hyperion is but i want to get my experience back up in a cheaper ship again first ;)
That Megathron looks good from my limited knowledge, do we have any 0.0 space to go punt around in? I want to make forays into industry + pvp so need some 0.0 hunting and mining grounds :)

Afaik anyone from DAED has been invited to visit Pure Blind for ratting / mining.
It was in one of the alliance mails... not sure if thats a sarcastic "come along and we`ll pwn your ass" or a genuine "feel free"

how far is that away from our main office? and should i leave moving over until the war finishes?

Pure Blind is just off the top of Lonetrek, Ichinumi is down the bottom, so about 15 hops ish.
As for the war, ive not seen any war targets pop up on my radar in Lonetrek yet. But that may be a different story in 0-sec.

That mega will have the turning circle of a train and speed will not be your friend, without a webber anyone will simply fly out of range of your blasters :(

that's the downside of big fook off armor sheeting tho

Well i took 1 webber drone to at least try and do something about the situation. But with the armor plating i cant really help the turning circle :ditto:

In that case, let other people take all the EW off your hands, you wont need that webber drone so just fit for more dps. If youre part of a gang you'll be arriving last, if theres not a point of scram on there already it'll be long gone before you lock it so ditch the scrambler for a tracking comp.

breakdown my slot type.
highs: good no issues there, possibly want to swap one launcher for a neutraliser but other than that its fine. or possibly due to fitting requirements of the low slots remove them and just use guns- see low for reasons why launchers may not fit. or swap to ion blasters to reduce fitting needs
meds: swap the cap battery for a cap booster and load up on cap booster 800s. also use a large cargo container in your hold for carrying additional cap boosters.
you should swap the sensor booster for a webber, there is nothing worse than watching your target mwd out of scramble range and warp out.
lows: drop the 2 1600mm plates and replace one with another armour repairer and an energised adaptive nano membrane.
if possible fit a magnetic stabiliser so as to increase your damage output.
the thing is with eve that any fitting needs to be used by an individual so they can get used to it. there are many different setups and tbh none are any better depending on situation and how a pilot flies the ship.
if this is your first outing into bs pvp be prepared to lose some megas, but you will get better. try different setups until you find one that suits your playing style and if someone suggests alterations to it then think about those suggestions and with experience you will be able to tell if it suits your play style.

The dual plate mega works pretty well, takes forever to break down. Sure your setup is an option Hippo, but his is pretty sold as it is.

Domi is a good solo pvp ship. You can fit it in many ways, and ideally if you combine and have 2-3 of them you will be a pretty solid force. ECM drones are your friends.
Web drones are rubbish btw, a single one will pretty much do nothing if it can even catch a fast ship.

Drone interfacing 5 is the next big skill :( time to get some implants and leave it on over xmas

heh you seen the time for heavy drones 5? its just as bad. Though i did just do medium rail spec to lvl 5 which has taken a fair while.

yeah but i see more drones as being more important :)

Heavy drones 5 is more important than DI5, which doesn't really lead anywhere. Though if you're flying a Mega, do you have large hybrid 5 yet? Thats probably more important if its your weapon of choice.

didnt advanced drone interfacing allow for more drones?

Once upon a time it did. Now it just lets you fit drone control units. Which i think only fit on motherships/carriers though i havnt checked. Heavy drones 5 = ogre IIs (as well as other heavy TII drones) which are awesome :D

It makes your drones do 20% more damage.... surely thats something ?!

Not compared to unlocking Ogre IIs.

Thanks for the feedback all. I purchased and fitted the above with the only variation of swapping the Cap Recharger II for another sensor booster to help the stupidly slow lock on time.
I tested it last night in a group of 4 in Jan and it seemed to be perfect.
