Vaguely thinking of driving up by myself, instead of with two friends as the car might be crowded, I don't want to be worrying about my car all weekend though!

Pretty safe. The Racecourse venue is well away from the centre of town.

Summer 2006 I actually slept in the car park, as it was baking hot indoors!

Same as the i-series - no car park security or entry/exit checks, except there's a lot less people, so less cars, easier to see what's going on.

As its xmas, the camp site is closed so there should be no randoms lurking about the area. We might have a random xmas market close by.

Yeah, as long as the cars are out of easy line of sight thats the main thing. My car tends to attract the wrong sort of attention, to many jealous idiots in this country these days.

TBH mate, you are from Leamington Spa and your asking how safe Stratford-Upon-Avon is?

Jesus I've been turned away from clubs in Nottingham because we were from Leamington Spa so I really wouldn't worry.

Theres plenty of "I'm still young damnit" people coming in their Celica GT4's anyway.

Nobody messes with the Pope mobile though!

What do you drive :)?

Wondered how long before someone bit :)

Go on then Concrete, what ya got?

I'm fairly protective of my car tbh and it's a company one so it doesn't hit me financially if anything happens to it so I can only imagine how it must be when it's your own hard-earned at stake if any harm comes to it :(

If its not the Ferrari 430 I see going down the parade(high street in leamington) every other weekend I will be sorely disapointed tbh.

If you have a decent alarm system fitted on your motor then you shouldn't have a problem anyway!

my cars have always been fine. and they tend to attract people who like to run keys down the side :(

Ryvita
18th December 2007, 08:54
Either that or he is worried that people will h4x0r t3h f0rum5 and find out where he is and come steal it from under his pillow. (Or wherever else it is he keeps it for security.)

:p

Unless you count giant penis's drawn in windows I think the parking was secure hehe.

Would have to be a mental car thief to be out on the rob in that weather.

Heh, only just read this, I've got a Skyline as well but it's a bright red R34 not the silver R33. Didn't bring it in the end as I got a lift with a mate, you are right though it would have been absolutely fine, so I'll bring it to the next one :)

her0n
4th January 2008, 10:56
Cool, just don't piss off the Racecourse staff by driving at light speed up to the main gate...

*cough*Ryv*cough*

skyline? get a propper sportscar ;)

Concrete
4th January 2008, 12:12
I wasn't aware that 350bhp RWD coupes weren't considered sports cars anymore :P ;)

Guigsy
4th January 2008, 12:30
i love the "my penis is bigger game" ;)

Skylines are just jumped up vectra's ;)

Concrete
4th January 2008, 12:47
Surely the Vauxhall comparison would be a Monaro? :)

Anyway, you are right, as technically they are grand tourers, not sports cars, but I like being able to fit luggage in my car and be able to climb in and out of it with ease :D

Guigsy
4th January 2008, 12:51
well then by definition its not a sports car, as sports cars are always hard to get out of and have rubbish luggage capacity. ;) hehe
I wouldnt call it a GT car ether ;) lol, skylines are a bread of there own

Im a Supra owner btw ;) the R34 is a nice car. but prefer to look of the 33

The Skyline was originally a luxury car.

The modern day version is definitely NOT a grand tourer in the same way a Supra isn't a grand tourer. Opinion is still out on the GTO for being a road-going barge.

It's a car with cheat codes to make it go faster... Gotta love it. :)
