Need Headphones

Any suggestions

Was thinking of the Speed Link Medusa 5.1 Surround. Although do you need a 5.1 sound card for this to work? I intend to use it with a Vostro 1500 laptop.

or any other suggestions, plus where it can be got from so that it will arrive in time!

yes unless it's one of those fake 5.1's youll need 3 seperate output jacks on your pc.

I don't see the point of these 5.1 headsets.
The ones i have had a go with, i think it was the Medusa's, seem really cheap and sound like crap. Hardly any bass response and only just about good enough for gaming.

Do it properly and purchase a decent pair of sennheiser headphones.

I use Medusa 5.1's and there damn good headphones imo - the USB powered ones are the way to go instead of the old 5.1 amp box which required a mains plug aswell..

I've had medusa's for quite sometime and to be fair they dont let me down when gaming.

its a lan, get nasty cheapy ones
