VPN and Broadband!

Hi.

I've just got access to a VPN for my workplace. I've also got Virgin Media Broadband.

However, whenever i connect to my workplace through the VPN, internet explorer, MSN and games want to try and access the internet through the VPN. My work's network has various firewalls that only allow the company website to be viewed.

Is there a way of accessing the VPN and still be able to surf the net, games ...etc using my broadband.

Which operating system?

Assumingly your using a PPTP connection and if so goto your network connections right click your VPN connection and do properties. Under the networking tab click TCP/IP and choose propeties. From the Enter IP address screen choose Advanced.

Untick the box that says "Use Default Gateway on Remote network"

should do it I think its in a similar but different place under vista.
