Skynetwales LAN Party

This is our Second -=SNW=- Event at this venue.

Bit of a long shot here, just trying to drum up some more support for LAN party’s in Wales. Skynetwales has been running and organising LAN party's for about 4 - 5 years. Our LAN’s have grown from 4-5 People to regular attracting 30+ attendees.

The Venue is about 45-50 Mins from Cardiff and about 1 Hour 20 Mins or so from Bristol.

Post code: LD3 7EW

All details e.g. Venue, prizes etc are located on our Website.

We now have our new venue of Brecon Theatre in Mid Wales!

The main LAN dates will be -

Saturday Jan 2008 5th to Sunday 6th.

Start time - 10 am Saturday

End time - 6pm Sunday

We have sponsors already, Thermaltake as before, with the editions of Crucial, Alienware and Calibre Connections. With £ 500.00 pounds worth of prizes so far, with more to come. There will be organised tourneys - CS SOURCE & UT2004, QAUKE III & a mystery game!!!

All competitions and prize details including a full break down is all located on the SNW website. (http://www.skynetwales.co.uk)

Take a look at the Gallery for Pictures from the Summer Event!!!

We can now offer warm, spacious sleeping areas, clean showers for men and women (separately!) and changing rooms & toilets, so all you will need is a camping mattress and sleeping bag. Also full disabled access. There is an on-site restaurant and licensed bar, parking is on site and is 50p per day. Also we have full access to the main theatre Internet pipe.

I only checked that paragraph and I'm pretty poor at English but... theres a few suggestions for you. Might be worth getting somebody with strong language skills to do your marketing, as the structure and the way it flows are a little awkward :S

On that note the venue does look awesome.

^^ Ahhhh just the person. You may be able to help me out with your local knowledge of Hereford.

We are sending out a few posters to cyber cafes, just trying to push the LAN a little more. I suppose the question is, Do you know of any cyber cafes, gamers who may be interested in coming to the LAN?

Cheers:D::D::D::D:
