its gonna be massive i reckon
it's kinda diluted atm cus there just so many games to play, but the gameplay is back to its best, the weapons are sweet and the maps are great. There are always more custom maps in the end than out of the box one's anyway, but i reckon UT3 will end up being a very popular game

At the moment i have to say yes it is worth buying, having played both CTF and DM a fair bit since getting it im back to enjoying UT. The Maps are for most part excellent and despite comments about to much brown and grey are very well detailed. There are some issues ( UI and Sniper Rifle being the worst) that need to be resolved and hopefuly they will with the expected patches.

It's weird, I've bought the game, played it a few times and havent played it since. I think the graphics are amazing, but it lacks "something" especially in multiplayer (which lets face it, is what it ). In team games, unbalanced sides don't ever seem to sort themself out (eg server swtiching people) so it nearly always ends up 1 side with 15 players vs another with 6. FFA it's more fun, but I dunno the weapons dont feel meaty / real enough. Such a shame, the demo was really fun to play. :/
(Of course I'm holding out hope for a patch that will start addressing the gameplay issues)

It lacks the sick, grotesque 'humour' that UT99 had/has. "I'm sorry, did I blow your head apart?!" haha! MEDIC!!!!!! hehe :D
