Will anyone be playing this at the LAN ?

Does anyone have it for PC/PS2/PS3/360 and is bringing it ?

Lets face it, nothing sais LAN like shamelessly gloating in a defeated opponents face, and nothing lets you shamelessly gloat like Pro Evo. If there enough people maybe we can arrange some sort of fun tourney again.

I have PES08 on my PC with Hub for 4 PS2 Controlers and ofcourse any USB Pads.

Probably best on a console mind, the PC support is crap and i think PS go a patch and the PC didnt so far.. also i have 4GB and have to use kitserver hax because for some unknown reason they released a game that wouldnt run with 4GB in a machine..

There appears to be a 360 in the social area for guitar rock legends super mega heroes, I'm sure if we asked extremely nicely (and bribed/blackmailed the owners) we would be able to use it for a few hours for a pro evo tourney. Anyone got pro evo for the 360 ?

I have the ps3 version, although I doubt I will bring it since I think 08 is a bag of **** /flees

PES6 all the way tbh.

PES 08 is a superior game, ONCE you get used to it. Every update all the fans moan about the changes and prefer the old version. It took me ages to accept PES6, I still miss my Bayern Munich team from PES 5 (Ballack from the halfway line every other game). Either way man up and prepare to lose at pes 08 you bloody heathens.

It's £19.99 on Play.com now (PS3 and 360) - not surprising since it's an awful game :p

Have you tried it online Jad? The lag leaves the game almost unplayable, even if you're playing on a LAN! Despite being a PES fanboy in the past I've turned to FIFA this year and haven't been dissapointed.

Having said that I do have PES08 for the 360 and I'm waiting hopefully for a patch that fixes all of the things they ballsed up. (I was looking forward to it so much as well! Sunderland in PES again :awesome:)

Online..... whats that ?
PES is all about several people huddled around a TV shouting, moaning and issuing death threats to tiny little computer men. PS2 version is fine, haven't tried 360, PS3 or PC versions cause I'm not a fancy pants.

Anyone who switches to FIFA is a button bashing inbred. Come back to us Dan.

PS2 version seems to be the only version that's good (Running on the same engine as PES6 PS2 with tweaks), Konami's "Next Gen" engine is currently pretty crap.

It appears Devvy will be bringing a PS2 and pro evo 08 anyway, he has decided to try and save as many of you button bashing inbreds as possible. Good on him I say. However I will be using the opportunity to remind all of you why the game is so good by hammering you mercilessly at my own leisure.
