Just to say a quick Thanks to everyone who attended the first LAN to make it such a great event!

Information: This LAN is a one day event for up to 60 people it will run on January 26th, participants may arrive from 9am onwards and the hall will close around 10pm.
Please check our FAQ section for what you will need to bring, as this is a BYOC LAN party.
We intend to run about 5 tournaments at this LAN, the prizes for these tournaments are still to be decided, more details on that will be posted here and on our forums.
We currently intend to run a 2vs2 Counter Strike Source tournament (teams are decided randomily from those attending, see our faq for details) we also intend to run a standard 5vs5 Counter Strike Source Tournament, and a Tackmania Nations Point based tournament as well. The remaining tournaments are still to be decided, although in the running is TF2, HL2DM, COD2, COD4, Warcraft 3, UT3/UT2004 and Dawn of War.
There are few food places nearby and as such we will have refreshments on sale at the event itself, this will include hot meals at lunch time as well as a variety of snack foods and drink. All will be reasonably priced, see forums for more details.

Network description: The network consists of 2x 24port 10/100 managed switches & a 10 port 10/100 switch. We also have a server and a router which will run DHCP, acting as intranet and fileserver, and 2 games servers to run a variety of games.
Internet connection: It is unlikely that there will be internet access at this LAN although we are doing our best to ensure there is, so we advise all participants to update steam on the friday night before getting ready to attend the LAN. Typically if there is a problem with your steam we may have things that can fix it. But we cannopt guarentee we will be able to help if you havent updated.
