2:21.73 on King.

Only had a couple of shots at it, but that seems to be my average time. Keep getting 2:22's and generally around there.

Using default controls, bumber cam, automatic gears and racing line off.

King, 2:34.41, 2:25.08, 2:23.98, 2:25.18

Racing in King, makes a lot of difference to the car handling.

Just got the Demo yesterday, best lap time under following conditions:
Manual Transmission with clutch,
King race mode,
Hood camera view,

Fastest Lap Time: 1:03.01
Race Time: 2:13.53
Avg Speed: 116
Top Speed: 188

I use to play with automatic transmission with all racing games, but since the design around this new NFS game is based upon being more of a simulator instead of an arcade game, i decided to step it up and play only on manual transmission w/ clutch. Not gonna lie to you, its amazing and a lot of fun, and it lets you get a true feel for the virtual car.


(I joined this forum to see how my lap times are matching up online with other people, this was the only forum i could find w/ recorded results)

I'll need to have a go with the clutch on then. How have you got your controls setup? I can't think of a good way to use a clutch short of using my PS2 controller.

Either that or you'd have to set it to spacebar or something I guess. Might be worth a go though, as you can get way more control I'd imagine.

Top speed = 195Mph
