hi we are just putting together some ideas for a Lan Party in the south coast, Bournemouth/Southampton area. We have a few venues in mind, but I really would like to know if anyone would be intrested in comming down to this if it was arranged?

There are quite a few LANs in the area, my friend.

GenericLAN, The Big Game, FatBoyLAN, ShotgunLAN (i think its still active), LANSE (a little further away)...

So theres plenty of gamers in the South. Get in touch with all the other LAN operators if you need any help or advice.

I'd be interested in coming along... Just don't make the mistake most people do when they start out with organising LANs and think too major and big too fast. Keep it small and simple to start with...

We could do with plenty more LANs in our area!

On the actual south coast in that specific area, I don't think there are any?

The Big Game is in Hedge End but that's more Southampton.

Remember, start small and don't bite off more than you can chew :):

No LAN's down here ever! and there are plenty of gamers!
