I suck even more than Stu when I'm a Werewolf IRL fwiw. Plus I'm usually a werewolf, which sucks even more. :( Interesting to see what the new pack has...

Plus Dentist - good idea - go make cards NOW!!! :D Would be good to get some variation in there. And maybe not tell people what cards are included - when it gets down the last five, people normally go "Well I'm the hunter, she's the witch, that's cupid, so you two must be Werewolves GG".

I also hear that taking out the clairvoyant balances things up for the werewolves somewhat...

The new cards are good and they do alot to make the game more interesting. But you'll just have to wait and see what's going to happen. A good narrator (like me) will run over the rules at the start of every session, so don't worry.
(Edit: A bad narrator, like Disco Stu will touch you at night - and during the game too ;) )

Its very simple, everyone sits in a circle and tries to convince everyone else to lynch somebody other then themselves. This is done by shouting the loudest and who all your friends are.

There is some side story and gumf about werewolves and witches and small children, but really its a good old shout fest with the loser getting hanged.

Its actually a great game for the people that don't know anyone, because you can sneakily not get killed due to people not having a running vendetta with you.

Unfortunately Aardvark every game I've ever played EVERYONE has a vendetta against you.

However being serious, some of the best games are when Aard, Afty and those who have said vendettas against them actually make it through to the end, because they will actually try to play the game and work out what the hell is going on. While the shout fests can be fun they do tend to make for pretty samey games. However I think these new cards will make a differnce against team vendetta. :D

Also don't worry if you've never played the game before, we always run through the rules first, and we expecially will this time as there's a whole next expansion. So you'll basically be in the same boat.

Zombie Fluxx is nothing like werewolves, it's a card game.

Fluxx isn't really in the Werewolves mould, its definitely more 'card game' than 'argue with each other' game. Are there any other decent games out there that strongly encourage the imposition of your will on others? :p
