--------------------
Description
-----------
The TFTrue plugin creates 5 new cvars for server owners to control aspects of Team Fortress 2 normally hidden to users. These cvars control critical hit chance, friendly fire, and respawn time.
Installation
------------
Create a directory in your team fortress 2 folder called addons (don't worry if one already exists)
Copy all files from this archive into the addons folder
An example directory would be
C:\srcds\orangebox\tf\addons\TFTrue.dll
Load the plugin one of two ways:
1. Restart the server
2. Execute the command 'plugin_load ../tf/addons/TFTrue'
CVars
-----
tftrue_crit_chance
The chance to do critical damage (decimal percentage)
tftrue_melee_crit_chance
The chance to do critical damage with a melee attack (decimal percentage)
tftrue_rapid_crit_chance
The chance to do critical damage when firing rapidly (decimal percentage)
tftrue_friendlyfire
Players will get hurt if a member of the same team hurts them
tftrue_respawnwavetime
Loose respawn timer. Tests have shown this value to be subject to some scalar determined by the game
during play. For instant respawn set this to 0.

I was in two minds about removing the thread when I saw it. However, the plugin is not exploiting anything as such and I can see that the i32 guys may well like this but as far as public servers go, not my cup of tea.

Why on earth would you remove such a useful and informative thread about a mod related to a game you're associated with?

The mod is designed to alter the physics of the game. As I stated earlier in this thread, I let it be as it doesn't actually 'exploit' anything and I understand that this mod may be useful in some circumstances.
Edit: Furthermore Dentist, the mod is designed to alter the game that Valve has developed for many years and has in general kept 17 servers full. Whilst you may dislike 'crit' kills and support this plugin I run 17 full servers that do not have this plugin and it seems to work fine. I do however see that this plugin may be useful for i32 and the guys that get a little upset at the 'crit' kills so have therefore left the thread untouched.

I know, lets ban all posts about FF because that is altering the way that Valve envisioned TF2!!!1one
To be honest, I couldn't care less about your server statistics. I'm running a full server with crits off, and one with 100% crits, what is your point?

I believe I made my point. The plugin may be useful for some, it's just not for me.

Yup, so you're well within your rights to say so, but consider deleting a thread? I think you need to learn more about how the community works here.

Ahem, I deleted nothing. Had it been some sort of exploit then obviously I would have to remove it but as I said initially it isn't an exploit and could be useful for some.

Also, it's not your job to remove posts about exploits unless they are actually cheating, and I hope you wouldn't remove such posts.

Takes one to know one I guess.
While we are a new team to MP we are working our "asses" off making the public MP TF2 servers a success. Why exactly are you here Dentist ?
All I have seen you do is take every opportunity to pimp your own servers via this forum or the irc channel or slag Parva etc off ??

I think that the comments made towards Parva are totaly innapropriate.
He stated his thoughts on the mod and at the end of the day being the community liason officer for MPUKTF2 i think he has the right to make a decision on a post being removed if he feels it is an exploit being posted.
In this case it is not and he did not state he WOULD be removing it so why try and state that he is?
Either way arguments solve nothing and obviously for some strange reason that is what Dentist is trying to instigate.

I just think the admins are looking at it in such a closed-minded way its insulting. I am intrigued as to why there needs to be a thousand tf2 admins though, some with horribly non-existant GSP experience.

There are actually 13 admins including myself, the majority of which have much experience of game adminning. I don't think that 13 admins qualifies as 'thousands' and it's barely enough to cover the 17 servers that we currently have. I insist that my admins act with professionalism at all times and if you have any reason to suspect that they aren't then I'd be pleased to hear about it.
I am closing this thread as it is going off on a tangent now. If you have anything further to discuss feel free to PM me either here or in IRC. Thank you.
