Hi,
Some of you might not be aware but i am one of the admins for the TF2 section.

All of that apart i was wondering what the deal would be for hosting LAN parties or such like events for the south east of England?

I live in a little town called Eastbourne which is pretty much the bottom of the country!

The nearest big city to myself is Brighton and i was wondering if a LAN party or event for this part of the UK would be possible?

Obviously i see the I series LAN's going on and all the other great events that are organised and in some sittuations i would go but sadly because i work full time and have other commitments it is incredibly hard to organise to travel so far.

Either way i thought it would be nice to set something up for us lot down here any suggestions or such like would be a good idea or maybe an official word to if this is a possible idea or not would be great.

Many Thanks

BaDgEr - Scott

Brighton to Newbury is like 2 hours. Maybe 2 and a half or 3. It's worth the journey!

We have people come down from Scotland, over from Ireland, and quite a few from Europe.

Last event CrackClan// had their management come over from Canada! I'm sure you can manage to come 100 miles :)

Hehe, you wuss :p

I drive from just north of Newbury down to MPUK HQ in Southampton every day - a nice 140 mile round trip ;)

Probably best to avoid any Northern i-Series goers for a while too... They may object to your claim that Newbury is in the Midlands!

Ha ha! Ye we call it god's waiting room!!!

Ye i know it's not far here and there but..

1. I am lazy HEE HEE and
2. It's easier to get to Brighton from here than to southampton ;)

Either way thanks for the response.....was just an idea :)
