Jumped on to Multiplay's LMS Instagib server last night for a few games.
"Flash" was in the zone and nailing me left right and center.
Good old LMS with classic maps.
Highly recommended.
Pop in for a few games tonight peeps :)

I really enjoyed the games too Piley. LMS1 and DM4 (Deck) are my faves at the mo. It's nice to see Deck with a wide variety of skills - the most established Deck-only servers are sometimes only filled with very high skilled players making it difficult to get a toe hold.
Will try to sort a "frag count" mod for lms some time - anyone got a suggestion so the scoreboard shows frags as well as lives?

I see DM Popular Maps is very full most nights. Played on there with no lag whatsoever. Seems Neo really has fixed it all.
One thing for LMS that is slighlty annoying is the auto respawn. Maybe it's on for a reason but I reckon it would be good off ;)
Deck only works great too. I pop on there so I stay current with Normal Weapons. Can't get too used to the insta.......:P
Now I need to get off my backside and get the crap n ghey server busy.....

Am I missing something here?
If I turn auto-respawn off, surely a lamer or somebody who's even AFK will just idle there and never be killed?
Surely LMS *depends* on players respawning immediately so they don't gain an advantage?

Fair point.

I don't think it did, I only went on once :(
I hate having no trans, I rely on my trans bind to access the other top weapons mostly sniper :( so i normally do my normal bind and end up wit a sludge cannon ;D

I share your grief on this, R-Jaw. I used to play D16 several hours a day with colleagues during downtime at work, and trans is just second nature to me on it...
I find that a lot of DM servers don't include trans... is there a reason?
Can we add it? please? I'll give you a dollar.

Yeah? Not when I went on yesterday there weren't. I went into DM#4 for a bit, then M4rdyB appeared on Skype so we went head to head on LMS Insta. (In fact we were 1v1-ing earlier in the weekend when J-Raw appeared, who'll confirm there were no BOTs.)

Aha! Good reason they were removed!
With multiple bots they would tend to camp, ending up with two camping bots at either end of the map.
With single bots they'd just stand there dumbly.
Of course, this being LMS that meant nobody else could join at all since a game was underway. Everyone stayed in spec forever, watching bots picking their noses.
So we had to pull 'em. Which means an empty server and some waiting around until another player joins. Not ideal but interested in any fixes.

Good point, I joined a LMS server the other day...Phobos Moon...and two BOTs were left, both standing up top, looking down into the courtyardy area, not noticing the other BOT just round the other side of the lift-shaft block. And I remember starting my own games and on some maps the BOTs would just camp in one or two favourite spots.
I don't know if changing the skill levels of the BOTs makes them stop camping? I don't mean such as making them "Adept" rather than "Experienced", but actually changing the individual faculties of each BOT, such as Aggression, Accuracy, Jumping, or whatever invidual settings there are to change?
Or what about the KickIdle feature...can that be applied to BOTs as well as Human players?
