FPS in UT99.

AMD 5200+

Nvidia 7900 GT

And so I'm a bit unsure as to why it's doing what it is.

Also, when I join a server for the 1st time after a restart, everything is in slow motion which is only cured by restarting the game.

Have you tried dual core optimiser?

What would that do? I don't mean to be rude by saying that but it'd just be good to know more. =]

For me it resolved these kind of issues and made new versions of vmware function properly. I dont know what it does exactly but its made by AMD and can be found by googling.

dual cores send some older games crazy so i guess thats what the dual core optimizer fixes!

Concur - AMD have a dual core fix on their site which fixed some major ut99 issues for me.

Yeah it works, when i got my dual core amd proc, GTA3 went mental, with everything running at about 5x normal speed. The dual core optimizer fixed it all :D
