it puts admins in an impossible position - anyone can simply lie about who was using the pc at the time of the abuse.
MPUK only have an IP to work from so don't be surprised at scepticism - the sheer number of cheats over the past 7 years is overwhelming and many have used the excuse that is wasn't them but a brother that was actually cheating.

Actually you can police the PC 24/7. using software like cyber patrol or similar you can restrict which sites are accessed and what type of files are downloaded, you can even filter out specific words from search engines. Additionally in XP you can set up user accounts one for you and one for your son, the one for your son you disable internet access. if he acts like a child that can't be trusted then treat him as a child that cant be trusted, only let him online to play when you are with him.

It is as you said your pc after all, so it is your job to stop people acting like idiots when using it.
