Since the last update our server on MPUK isnt playing this map even though its in the map list.

Yeah,
Its a known problem on multiple servers (Not just here at Multiplay), there doesn't appear to be any pattern in the problem, but hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later.
Oh and it was around before the last update ;o

Just remember the fact you are playing a demo and there will be bugs as the days go on but they will be rectified as time goes by

Its not a demo its a beta and its skipping 3 maps not just the one now.

Any time scale for a fix other servers seem fine, we are paying for this and there are only 6 maps of which we only can play 3 !!

does your map rotation file contain more than one entry for each map?

So - funny story.
This new bug is actually due to the fact that I changed the behavior to
allow duplicate map names in the mapcycle file. So putting two of every
map *should* work as a quick fix. I'm looking into the skipping bug now.

anyone know if the double maps is still needed? Im having problems with our server skipping maps which was solved by doubling up but now its playing the same map twice as would be expected. Also the "new" maps available to add from clanforge dont all seem to work properly. They just wont end at the set time limit.

Badger: No, it should be fixed now its been released.
I'm not sure there isn't much word on it atm.
Try it with out the doubling up :)
