We operate a very easy going style here on the MP TF2 servers and don't wish to impose rules that are restrictive. Swearing is allowed in moderation. Be aware that you may be kicked and / or banned for :-
1) Excessive use of bad language
2) Personal abuse (frowned on harshly)
3) Voice comms abuse (including 1&2 above and also broadcasting music)
4) Pornographic or offensive 'sprays'.
5) Using exploits or glitches (ie attacking from an area of the map that wasn't designed to be entered for example)
6) Disruptive play (Playing in a manner with the purpose being to deliberately annoy other players on the server)
We are operating a 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and finally perm banned policy with regards to personal abuse but this policy will also apply to anyone that thinks it's funny to play music over comms etc. Be aware that you may go immediately to 1 day or even 1 week off depending on the severity of the offence. You have been warned.
Instant permanent bans are :-
1) Racism
2) Using cheats
3) Clan tags from certain clans that are there just to disrupt servers - [myg0t] etc
NB With regard to #1 above servers are logged 24/7 and whilst there may not be an admin around at the actual time of any racist language being used it is logged and anyone using such language will be banned. Please do not be lulled into thinking that because it's 5am you can evade detection.

Querying a ban?
If you wish to query a ban you can join us on Quakenet IRC at #mpuktf2_admins where we can hopefully come to a resolution. Alternatively, you can email multiplaytf2@gmail.com and somebody will take a look at the circumstances surrounding the ban and get back to you. In either case we will need your Steam ID which you can obtain by joining any server (not necessarily Multiplay) and typing 'status' in the console.
