Headset mic question

If you're right handed, which in all likelyhood most of you are. Which side of your head should a headset mic stem from?

We're having a debate in the office and its kinda 50/50 at the moment. (Yes we're bored).

I'm right handed and my mic is also on the right same with my bluetooth earpiece that also goes on my right.

My mic is in front of my mouth. Although it does attach to the left earphone :)

Left for my computer headset, but if i have a bluetooth headset/earpiece it goes on the right...

Well I'm **** out of luck then, I'm left handed and deaf in my right ear.

My mic is on the left of my headset, i think most tend to be that way.

I use my bluetooth headset on the right, that way I can hear other people in the car

on both pairs of headphones its on the left.

And when in the car I usually have my bluetooth earpiece in my left.

Every headset ive ever owned (one of them) was on the right hand side.

Whichever side the device is on, so the cable doesn't cross my body.

I'm surprised I'm the minority, would have thought right is the correct choice.

Mine's always been on the left. I've never seen a set with it on the right. Playing with my headset just now, it really dosent make any difference to me.

Although if wearing a single earpiece (and I tend to wear my headset half on, half off) I have it on my right ear

My headset allows me to plug the mic into the left or right and an earpiece I use at work is a single ear but does allow left and right but I use right.

When I used a headset at work, it was a single earpiece one, and I always used it on my left. Same with my headset now and all headsets I've used - left.

I've got a nice plantronics one which you can wear either way round, I tried it on the right earlier, and its just not natural dammit :p
