I got me a brand new (first ever laptop), vista premium... straight out the box, transferred a load of music/vids across. Media player took control (as expected - all I was doing was trying it out) and eventually (after coaxing) played choonz n vids happily until I clicked the close "x" only to be informed that WMP had encountered an error and was going to close.
Huh? I closed it ffs! If M$ can't even get their own apps to work, what chance the rest of the world! :>:

As its been rigged to be playable on XP... dosent Vista have a semi-functional backwards capability feature?
