I was wondering about the record number of posts on this forum??? On the planetarion forums its about 2000..... I dont think that this forum has anything as high as that

There was a thread before i3 that had an obscene amount of content, all of great expectations chapter by chapters, basically as much text as we could find

about 1500 posts and each page was about a meg ;)

I think it got lost in the swap over to vbb though cause it was just far too big :)

Yes I remember that thread... bane of my life when converting the forums across to vBulletin from UBB. The thread kept crashing the convert process as it took too long to import the 10 meg thread. Yes 10 MEG in a single thread of text. We had work reports, books, essays, and as BGH said... Great Expectations chapter by chapter :). Madness.

The MPUK web site is about 10 times better!

I preffer Imperium Galactica 2, now thats a great game, planetarion = ****e compared to it

played it for a bit, it got boring though, after u compleated the tech tree.....

and it doesnt help when all your roids get nicked by every1 in your galaxy :rolleyes:

ah well..... If you get into a good alliance then the fun never stops (except havoc time which is zZzZzZ) I always got roided at the beginnig. But you get past it, and meet new freinds and THRIVE!

HeHe.. Yeah. I just think it's annoying how people always dish PA, and they have really never actually played it properly. The new round should be better than the old ones though. The raios, and stuff have been re-done. The graphics are new too:D

well it looksa lot more spiffy since i played it, its was just text with the off little pic......

i didnt find it hard, and i understood it (i actually read up on everything in the tech tree) but it just wasnt quite to my taste, i like the idea of a big realm like that, but i just dont think Planetareion pulled it off right.

hah... I've played it properly, I was in a gal that ended up in the top 200, I was in VeX... soooo, I have played the game, but, waiting around an hour just to tick is not my idea of fun.... I LIKE RTS GAMES!!!! not tick based!

TBH the people that play Planatarion would enjoy it whether it looked spiffy or an Excel spreadsheet. Personally after reaching the end of the tech tree all that seemed left to do was war, which wasn't the bit I really found fun! Hence the reason I don't play it....
