Opponent refused to play against me

Popped into a CTF server the other night. Don't normally like CTF, but there was just one player on it, and I recognised the name, so thought a little head to head would be fun.

But every time I changed teams so as to be against him, he changed and joined my team. Must've done it 5 or 6 times. I disconnected because I didn't just want to play with him against the BOTs, as that's not much fun at all.

While loading up Monster Hunt I had a good old grumble about him. "If he didn't want to play against a human he shouldn't be on-line!!", stuff like that.

Is this a reportable offence though? I think probably not, but wondered what others thought?

An offence? The guy just wanted to play a comp-stomp with some other people... You're as free to join/leave the server as he is to join/leave another team.

i would have viewed that as a challenge and would have continued swapping untill they gave up.

You didn't want to play against bots, he didn't want to play against humans.
-> no agreement -> no game

So I was playing this CTF server the other night. This Adrenal1ne guy comes on, and I'm thinking we can pWn these b0tz!!!! So I join his team and he switches. Then I switch to join him, and he switches back!!!! We did this 5 or 6 times, and finally he just leaves, muttering something about monsterhunt or something!!! I'm thinking "Why doesn't he want to be on my team??? Why would you join a server to NOT pWn b0tz??? Is it me??? There's no WAY he knows I have chronic foot odor!!!"

Guess he wanted a string of godlikes and didn't want you interfering with his 'fun' Adrena1in :roll: - I agree - why even go online in that case, play against your bots offline, set them to novice and ......... :worship: show them just how wonderful a player you really are :p
