quick question before buying

I've read on this forum that some people are already L20 or higher.

I'm wondering if this is because the level system is fast or if its because they started playing "pre" release? If they started playing on the 24th and in 3 days made it up to L20+ then I'll be a little disappointed that the level up system is so fast. I want to work for each level.

Can anyone tell me the level cap as well?

Level cap is 50.

I made 13 in about 18-20 hours of playing.
I know there are people who are 40+ who had started in the pre-release so leveling probably isn't that slow, but how fast you level is up to you not the game.
Explore more, take time out to do crafting or hunt down elite creatures and you can make any level last a long time.

hrm yeah i played very casually thru the pre-release and got to level 10, obviously thats the point where its starting to be a decent challenge to level. but cummon posting this question is pointless, look at how quick people got to the cap level in the new WoW expansion, if ppl want to level ridiculously fast then they will - end of.

Im still playing this game at a very leisurely pace, by that I mean I didn't bother playin at all over the weekend.

I started playing this game on the 27th. So far I really like it though I don't play too often. I have several chars but my main is L11. The level system seems to be just fine IMO.

I've noticed that there aren't nearly as many people online playing lately. Strange.
