In case you didn't know, that high definition pack that originally came with Blue Shift is available for Steam (and has been for some years now).

To install it, click this link:

Next time you play a Half-Life game, it will be downloaded and installed.

just wanting to report aparently alot of mods dont like this :( it disables the use of other custom models and it is also missing some animastions, so if there is a custom barney model in a map and its not part of the HD pack the barney wont show... all at least thats what i got when reading about it

The work around for stopping the pack from using other custom models is to actually extract the High Definition models from the half-life high definition.gcf file in your SteamApps directory using GCFScape. Then move the extracted files into either the SvenCoop/models or valve/models directory. Either one will enable the models to work in SvenCoop. Choosing the latter simply allows you to use these models in all other 3rd party mods where required.

You only need to move them into valve, not svencoop :) (anything svencoop uses from the HDR pack is called from the valve folder).

I still can't wait for 3.5, so we can use the desert eagle :D That gun was ace.
