banned from your server

I entered your US east #5 artifact hunt server (around 3 am american east coast)earlier today, there was 2 other people in the server at the time and one of them started a ban vote and the server kicked me, it's the only server I play on :( help plz!

the newbies name was "High as hell"

and while I'm at it the server could use friendly indicators or team names stay on when you hit caps lock.. lots of tks there..kinda hard for people to decipher teams sometimes.

I'm honestly not certain how the ingame vote banning works. But I imagine it doesn't do it permanently so it shouldn't be there all the time, but i'll try and find that out for certain.

And i've mentioned the enabling team indicators and enabling auto team balance before to those that have control over the servers, but there was some sort of problem which they are awaiting a reply from THQ on.

well it seems to stick as I am still banned quite a few hours after the incident

I can't actualyl see any information on it anywhere.

So i've just vote banned myself from server #6 to see if it is a permanent one or a temporary one. So it's just a wait and see what happens, unless someone happens to know more about it and has already tested it.

By the way people are commenting on the voteban, And how it is getting abused. It might be worth while turning it off from all Public Servers.

Yeh, there are 4 US Stalker servers run by MPUK.

2 East Coast, 2 West Coast.

welp i just checked and im still banned from it.. the only server i play on too :( .. theres really no good usa servers other then the multiplay ones

We would but not for Stalker at this moment in time. There are too many issues with the code to make us happy with the service we would be able to provide to anyone renting a server for this game. Once the issues have been resolved we will of course review the situation.

I've emptied out the ban file on the server, as there appears to be no unban method.

I've also raised the issues with voting and bans in general with THQ / GSC.

If you still cant join let us know and I'll restart the server as well.
