Network problem

whenever i try to connect to an internet server in stalker, the game proceeds to the loading screen where after a few seconds it returns straight back to the servers page without any error message etc at all.

anyone got any ideas as to what might b the problem?

Are you patched to the latest version and checked all the firewall ports are unblocked ?

From what ive heard the next patch their including a badly needed net code fix, at the moment i am enjoying it online DM and TDM is great fun but its the style of gameplay which i enjoy most, the fact that u step more than 2 meters into an open area of a map, your head gets blown off :D reminds me of the days of operation flashpoint :) cautiously awaiting your moment to strike.

hehe i often find myself scared to leave a building or stray too far from cover.... sprinting at full speed across a street into more cover....

games great fun...

but seriously.... stroll on the net code fix..... for the love of god....

Hi I have the same problem: ie. start multiplayer it says connecting then it just boots me back to server list?
I have forwarded ports for firewall and router
I have latest patch (1.3) installed.
My spec is
P4 3.0Ghz
1.5gig 600mhz Kingston DDR2
Nvidia 7600Gt
SB Creative Audigy platinum pro
Windows Vista Ultimate
8Gig connection

Any help you can give would be great.

I try to connect to an internet server in stalker but does the same starts to load then gives up, i have a bthome hub (bad mistake used to have a netgear DG834Gwish i had it back!) anyway stalker works around my mates house who now has my old router but not at my home so must be the crrrrap bthome hub! if you have a fix let me know?
