Whilst this was quite amusing, I was more interested in the linked website, and the reason the whole FSM movement was created.
In case any of you hadn't realised this by now, the FSM thing is actually a satirical stab at the whole American ultra right-wing christian creationist movement, and the legal battles involving the inclusion/removal of Intelligent Design as an alternative scientific theory to Darwinism and its madatory teaching in the classroom.
For anyone interested in understanding how the right wing christians are determined to destroy america, there is an excellent video linked from the FSM website. It is entitled "Ken Miller’s 'The Collapse of Intelligent Design'". It is two hours long, but well worth watching.

Intelligent design is stupid anyway. Even if you believe in god why is it not straightforward enough to believe that god created evolution?
