How can you know about fixing all the bugs when you can only play 2 out of 3 sides in the demo?

This is EA, we should be genetically sceptical by now.

Jeez

i was talkin about the interface tbh. I hated the generals bit where u had to click buildings to build things but now they have taken it back to the old style.

cant tell about bugs but im likin how its lookin so far.

if it's like black and white 1 ( where the cover was different but was reversable anyway so no difference ) I'll laugh

Apparently you get 3 multiplayer specific maps over the vanilla version, some outtake DVD stuff (all the actors in it, bloopers etc), and some ingame skins and wallpapers, £3 more on play.com but I don't view it as that important.

the big question is, have they FINALLY FIXED THE NETCODE?

(The multiplayer game has detected a mismatch.)

You know that only happens when someone tries to use cheats :/

No, it happens in every EA RTS game at random based on the time of day, the weather, the position of jupiter etc

The question is will it be another cheap clone produced to get more cash, or will it actually be a ground breaking new rts.

I know what my money is on, will try it out and decide :)

EA are ****e are producing RTS's

take BFME1 for example, perhaps one of THE best RTS's ever made, played brillantly, looked awesome and had ALOT of tactical depth

then came the first 1.1 patch

all netcode changes....All good

1.2 patch.....TOTALLY screwed the game up and made Gondor so OP is was a joke.

took them 6 months, yea 6 Fcking Months to patch the game to revert back to the orignal patch

EA are a joke when it comes to patching, they NEVER listen to the public who perhaps know the game better then themselves.

If you want a proper Developer try RELIC, they have patched CoH 6 times in 7 months, all credit due they have made a proper job and listened to the public, sumthing EA will never do.

I will buy this game on the notion that EA ahve changed but im not holding out much hope tbh....

not the case....

this can be caused by a Fubar net connection.... ;)

Looking at the units for NOD and GDI it was pretty astounding how little anything's changed.
And IMHO that's not a good thing.

I lost interested with the C&C line after Tiberium sun which just sucked massively.

RA was always fun and the difference in units in Generals was nice.

I just looked at the equivialent air units and went /yawn.

I played the demo (yes, I know its a demo) and I don't think I have ever been so bored playing a demo of a new C&C game.

C&C died with RA2, yet another franchise ruined by EA...... EA are only interested in shifting as many copies of crap as possible, not catering for serious gamers.

Supcom is THE RTS to be playing if you want some serious fun.

To me... it felt just like a re-skinned C&CGenerals, but I did have fun playing the demo, over and over.
Still not keen on the "Generals Abilities", "research buildings" or multiple build ques though, but dispite that... I've still got a few copies sitting on my desk (shopped for pals too) and loving my NOD tshirt :D

Been playing C&C 3 full for 3 days now at uni. It's a decent game, nice graphics and all.. but it doesn't seem like a mega improvement from previous C&C games (gameplay wise).

Good enough to buy is what I'm saying :)
