T/S HACKED AGAIN

hI ,our t/s was hacked again(MH4591),If we put a password on and close it to the public would this help in stopping the t/s server being hacked.

Once again your help in this matter is appreciated.

To my knowledge there are no outright hacks for TS and it requires some misguided admin to grant the idiots access. So the thing to do is to not do this if you cant trust your admins to not be silly removing their privs is the best way to solve this I would say.

I've always set my TS permissions up so that Ops can't give Op status, Channel Admins can't give Channel admin status, and Server admins can't give Server admin status. So server admins can only be set from the web interface.. etc

The default permissions for different status's on a TS server are not terribly secure to begin with.. so have a look through them and make sure that only what you want each level to be able to do is set. :)
