It's kinda tricky, Major. As you probably know, utdc isn't currently developed any longer, nor are any UT99 anti-cheats that offer any protection against the later bots. (Utdc ain't perfect but it does work on some of the more popular bots that bypass Pure).

We don't have a solution other than to remove it completely, which is an option but one that needs careful thought - because when we disabled it temporarily a few weeks ago, we DID notice a quite dramatic rise in botters (and utdc bans a few every day across the ut99 servers).

I think the decision comes down to how many innocent people are being kept out. If it's just you, Baron - honestly it's probably better for the servers as a whole if it stays, even though you're effectively banned. If there are many Win64 users around then the balance shifts. (As a point of reference, we ran some tests over the past 3 months to see how many players use the ut99's. It averaged out at approx 2-3 thousand UNIQUE ut99 players.)

So, quick straw poll - who here runs Win64? If so, ever managed to play on a utdc server?

Personally when I join a server and find its got utdc on I just disconnect and go play else where. It has no buisness being on any server given its a manual install jobby.

Not strictly true now killing - it simply installs itself but shuts down your ut the first time, then once you have it you are fine.

I can still play, i have winxp x32,x64 and vista.

ut plays best on xp x64 apart from utdc.and awfull on vista

Another nail in the coffin against Vista then...
